    In Aargau, Police Rescue Underage Prostitute from Brothel

    The Aargau police have rescued a young girl from Eastern Europe from a brothel, leading to the arrest of the brothel operator. The incident was triggered by a member of the public who reported a young girl working at a brothel in the Baden district. The police promptly responded to the tip-off and discovered that the young woman’s age was in doubt, and her identity documents did not match the person in question, according to the Aargau Canton Prosecutor’s Office on Friday.

    After removing the young woman from the brothel, an investigation was launched by the Canton Prosecutor’s Office into promoting prostitution of minors and potential human trafficking. Subsequent interrogations and investigations conducted by the specialized staff of the cantonal police and the prosecutor’s office led to increased suspicions against the brothel operator.

    In close collaboration between law enforcement agencies, house searches were carried out in two Aargau municipalities, which resulted in the arrest of the brothel operator. The Canton Prosecutor’s Office requested pre-trial detention for the 58-year-old, who is under urgent suspicion of sexually exploiting the underage teenager. Until a legally binding conviction, the presumption of innocence remains.

    The underage girl has been transferred to a specialized agency for psychological care. This incident highlights the ongoing issue of human trafficking and forced prostitution and serves as a reminder of the importance of reporting suspicious activities to the authorities.

    Recently, we’ve received reports of an apartment being turned into a brothel by the tenant, under the landlord’s nose. Apparently, the woman who rented out the apartment quickly started her own illegal business to make some money, without the owner of the apartment knowing about it.

    Landlord was in a hurry to rent out the apartment

    According to our sources, the owner of the apartment planned on traveling for three months and decided to make some money on the side by renting out his apartment. Since the travel was imminent, he did not have much of a choice when it came to choosing who gets to rent the apartment.

    Only one foreign woman contacted him about the place. Since she seemed nice on the phone and he was in a hurry, he decided to rent the apartment out to her.

    Apartment used for sex trade

    Before his departure, the landlord visited the apartment where he already noticed a few red flags. An unknown man opened the apartment, it was dark inside with the curtains closed and there was a pungent smell of marijuana. Although this should have been enough to send the tenant away, since the landlord was in a hurry, he signed a contract with the lady anyway.

    A few days later, he received an email with a collection of complaints from other tenants in the building about strange sounds coming from the apartment and many different men entering the room on a daily basis. Additionally, some of the tenants actually searched for the address of the apartment and found online sex advertisements.

    Owner of the apartment is powerless in the situation

    Although the owner doesn’t like that his apartment was turned into an illegal brothel, he is powerless in this situation. Since they signed a 3 month contract with the tenant, he cannot simply throw her out. Additionally, it wasn’t specified in the contract that the apartment can only be used as a residential place.

    However, since the woman is basically operating an illegal brothel in the apartment, she is bound to get in trouble with the police.     Although the girls might have received money for their services and they did it voluntarily, underage prostitution and pimping is still against the law.

    The trial was also observed by a psychiatrist who assessed the man’s mental health, as he previously stated that he is autistic.

    The police are still investigating and the trial has been postponed till December.

    Couple in prison for smuggling

    A 37 years old man and his partner a 45-year-old woman have been sentenced to prison because of smuggling, tax evasion, document forging and illegal prostitution.

    Apparently, the couple have smuggled at least 14 Chinese women into Germany who then started working as prostitutes.

    Some of the Chinese women had forged documents when they entered the country.

    The man has a Chinese citizenship and this is most probably how they found the women in China. The couple has confessed to most of the allegations and they have been sentenced to three years in prison.

    According to our sources, the Viennese police department has recently concluded yet another set of raids on illegal prostitution. Five private apartments have been closed and numerous women as well as landlords fined under the prostitution and COVID-19 acts.     Sources indicate that a total of 109 charges have been made during the raids. 86 of those charges were filed under the prostitution act, and the other 23 are COVID-19 law infringements. 25 officers raided the apartments over several days, ultimately closing 5 of them.

    The women were found because of online advertisements through which they were looking for potential clients. 25 apartments and 31 women between the ages of 19 – 43 were checked during the raids.     Hotel owner opens business amid Corona Virus lockdown

    The police have recently conducted a raid on a hotel in Vienna that was reported to be housing illegally working prostitutes. According to the police, people have been reporting frequent activity and suspicious people going in and out of the establishment.

    In addition to being open amid the lockdown, the hotel was also lacking the required documents to operate legally. The owner didn’t have an operating facility permit and the establishment was lacking in fire protection equipment and the escape routes were not properly set up either.

    The police have arrested six people in the raid and filed charges against more. Some of the charges were against people who were living in the establishment without reporting a new place of residence. People who spend more than three days in a hotel per week are required to register a new home address.

    The owner of the hotel closed down the establishment voluntarily after the raid. The spokesperson who reported this news to the media said that if the hotel opens again illegally, the owner will lose his permit forever. The owner is only allowed to open once the ban has been lifted and the correct measures have been taken in acquiring the legal permit.

    Once they have arrived to the destination, the women have their passports taken away from them and forced into having paid sex for the trafficker’s profit. The women who fall victim to this method are usually threatened verbally and they also have to endure physical abuse.

    International Loverboy Gang in Europe

    According to our sources, the gang has been forcing women into prostitution for years and most of the women had to work in Vienna. Reports show that the women who were forced into prostitution were between the ages of 18 and 40. Some of the women were sold to other gangs who paid up to 8,000 euros for the women.

    The gang has been operating in three different countries since 2012 and made a huge profit with this method. The police forces in Romania have raided 16 houses and arrested 22 suspects, some of which are thought to be the leaders of the Vienna branch of the illegal prostitution gang.

    According to police reports, multiple luxury cars, weapons, cash, jewels and other luxury commodities have been seized. After the arrests, 15 suspects have been kept in for questioning. In Great Britain, two suspects have been arrested and brought in for questioning who are thought to be linked to this international loverboy gang. In Vienna there were no arrests yet, but law enforcement officers have seized documents and cell phone information from the suspects.

    According to police reports, the leaders behind this gang have disguised their operations behind a family run gold-trading business. Sources indicate that the gang had connections in Cyprus, Switzerland, Turkey, Germany, Romania and Austria since 2012. Additionally, the gang is also suspected to have put counterfeit British pounds on the market as well, totalling to over 1,115,000 euros in profit.

The loverboy method is one of the most common ways gang members lure insecure women into illegal prostitution. Law enforcement is trying to arrest the people behind these types of operations, but this is a hard task since there are so many gangs that use this to force women into illegal prostitution.     Vienna offers a multitude of different choices when it comes to choosing a place to have sex. There are numerous Laufhauses, sexclubs, FKKs, studios and brothels in the city; however, not all of them are operating legally, with a license. There are many reasons why choosing an illegally operating brothel is a bad idea. Some of the reasons you should avoid them are:

    • Many illegally working places scam their clients
    • Girls who work illegally are not regularly tested for STDs
    • If a police raid happens, you are going to be just as guilty as the people running the place
    • Illegally operating girls’ services are often very bad

    Since we would only ever recommend legal places to visit, we have compiled a list of all police approved brothels in Vienna categorized by the district they’re in. This list should help see which establishment is legit and which isn’t, in order to avoid any places that work illegally.

    You will find the establishment’s name, address, website (if they have a website) and any related content that we’ve previously released about the place. There are also some entries that have been marked as permanently closed by Google, as well as a few that we suspect will close soon (if not already).

    This list is not fully up-to-date, as it is based on data from May, 2017. It is also a work in progress and the list will be updated whenever we get our hands on new information. Even though the list contains most of the places that are working legally right now, there are a few that have closed since then and some new ones opened too. In order to keep the list updated, we urge you to share the latest info you know in this Sex in Vienna forum thread.     The summer season is never kind to brothels in Vienna. Almost all prostitution institutions have been affected by the lack of clients, some of them to the point of no return. The fact that Okaybar got shut down shows how serious the situation really is. This is an establishment that only recently got renewed and we even praised it a couple of months ago. If Okaybar couldn’t keep up with the heat, how could other, smaller clubs have a chance?

    Brothels that closed over the summer season

    There are numerous brothels that are being closed or sold. In addition to the fact that Okaybar got shut down, a couple of other smaller clubs have gone bankrupt too. Club Café, Bar Téte-A-Téte, Club Royal in the 3rd District, VIP Bar and even Eve Bar closed their gates.

    Eve Bar getting closed isn’t a huge loss, as they only made headlines as scammers. If you do not know what I’m talking about, they have been paying taxi drivers to bring clients to their establishment for years.     Some of these bars had been in business for more than a decade, but nobody knows if they are going to be operational ever again. Their legacy might go down the drain because of a bad business model. The fact that the summer season is hard for every brothel in Vienna only makes this process go through even faster.

    Here’s why these clubs are doomed to fail

    Various factors play a role in the closing of these brothels. We have already talked about the negative impact that FKKs and Saunaclubs have on the overall prostitution scene in Germany in this article. Even though this problem was mostly present in Germany, the symptoms have started to surface in Vienna too. Saunaclubs are taking away girls and clients from smaller clubs. Since there are no clients, they cannot pay the bills and are inevitably forced to close shop. The lack of girls is also a huge problem, as most ladies prefer working in FKKs and Laufhauses. Here, they don’t have to consume alcohol and they have access to a lot more customers.

    Another huge mistake by the clubs in question is that they have almost no online presence. Some of the clubs that we have mentioned do not even have a functioning website. Not being caught up with the latest marketing techniques can be devastating for business. Without a stellar online image, clients will without a doubt choose more reputable places.

    Some business owners are not real businessmen who have no business background. This means that they do not know how to properly operate such an establishment. There are even a few club owners who indulge in illegal activities, which puts them on the authority’s radar.

    Lastly, many smaller clubs scam their customers to get the most money out of them. These unsatisfied clients are never going to visit the same club ever again. Not only that they won’t come back, but they might also leave negative feedback online, on mongering forums.

    How are bigger, more reputable brothels holding up?

    Not every brothel in Vienna is affected by the situation to an immense extent. Even though FKKs are starting to creep up on the prostitution business as a whole, a few clubs are staying on top of the situation. According to our sources, Babylon and Maxim Wien are keeping up with the heat. They follow a clean business model, which makes surviving the summer season a lot less challenging for them.

    Conclusion

    As you can see, there are multiple institutions that are getting the short end of the stick. Nobody knows for sure if they are ever going to be in business again. Thankfully, there are still a couple of good brothels that are functional that do not have an ulterior motive. As for smaller clubs, we will have to wait and see which of them can survive the summer season.
