Is Funpalast Saunaclub Set to Close Its Doors This Fall?

Rumours are circulating that Funpalast saunaclub in Vienna will be closing down in the coming months. The rumour was first reported on the Sex Vienna Forum by a user.

According to the forum user, the club will be shutting its doors in the fall, and the building will be demolished. In its place, a pharmaceutical company is said to be building a new office building.

The management of Funpalast has not yet released any information on whether they will actually be closing down, so for now, these pieces of information are considered as mere rumours.

However, the saunaclub has recently made several missteps in the areas of pricing and marketing, which has often frustrated loyal customers.

In this article, we will review what we have written about Funpalast in the past years and explore what could have led to the possibility of Funpalast’s closure.

Controversial Marketing Stunt Backfires on Funpalast Saunaclub

Saunaclub Funpalast has recently faced backlash for a controversial marketing stunt that has gone terribly wrong.

In an attempt to gain more attention, the club appeared in a TV show called “Geil – That’s How It’s Done in Austria” and invited Martin Mahrer, a Viennese lawyer, to participate in their advertisement.

The ad showed Mahrer in a bathrobe, chatting with a masked sex worker and disappearing into one of the rooms with her.

Despite his claims that it was just a role he played for a friend and that he did not mention his job, the Supreme Court concluded that the case was not a private matter and imposed a fine of 4,000 Euros in total. The marketing stunt was deemed as an advertisement for prostitution and was considered as something associated with human suffering.

This failed attempt has caused a huge backlash against Funpalast and has surely not helped their business.

Funpalast Saunaclub Increased Prices for Half-Hour Services

In 2022, we reported that the Funpalast Saunaclub in Vienna had increased its prices for half-hour sessions due to inflation and rising energy prices. According to a spokesperson for the saunaclub, the increase in prices was necessary to keep the establishment operational.

The price for a half-hour session was set to increase by 10 euros, from 60 euros to 70 euros, starting at the end of May. The entry fee and prices for drinks and food, however, were not affected by the price increase.

The significant energy price increase and higher costs for the club’s facilities were cited as reasons for the price hike.

The club caters a lot of guests every day, and the women who work there were also affected by the overall price increase in fuel, food, and accommodation. To make the price increase fair for everyone, the decision was made to increase the price for half-hour sessions.

The increase in prices at Funpalast Saunaclub sparked concerns among customers and industry experts, as it came on top of a series of missteps in the club’s pricing and marketing strategies. The move was seen as a desperate attempt to stay afloat amidst growing competition and financial challenges faced by the sauna club industry.

Entry fee increase in 2019 as well

In 2019 we reported that the entry fee for the Funpalast Saunaclub in Vienna had been raised by 10 euros.

The information was first reported by a community member in the SV Forum Funpalast thread.

The new entry fee was confirmed to be 90 euros, and it still included a ticket that was valid for a half-hour session with one of the girls. The ticket system remained in place, meaning that every customer who entered Funpalast was eligible for it.

Funpalast Saunaclub and the Decline of Austrian Saunaclubs: An Analysis

In 2019, in our article we discussed whether Funpalast Saunaclub was responsible for the decline in the quality of Austrian saunaclubs.

The article included an interview with a manager of one of Vienna’s better clubs, who provided insight into the matter.

According to the manager, clients of FKK Clubs and Saunaclubs are the hardest to please. The nature of the FKK Saunaclub business is “all-inclusive,” meaning that clients pay an affordable and reasonable entry fee and can participate in a half-hour session with one of the girls. However, the success of these clubs relies heavily on the girls working there, as they handle all other money transactions.

The manager argues that Funpalast Saunaclub made a misstep when they introduced a new, cheaper pricing system, breaking the natural market balance.

This system included an 80 euro entry fee and a ticket for a half-hour session with a girl, which cost 50 euros. The remaining 30 euros went to Funpalast.

This price drop had a significant impact on the Vienna brothel market, as girls from other clubs flocked to Funpalast, and clients moved from other clubs to take advantage of the cheaper prices.

This new system caused market disruption, as girls started asking for higher prices for their services, and Funpalast struggled to keep up with the demand. Moreover, the pursuit of the best deal is unnatural when it comes to quality services and beautiful ladies.

What does the future hold for the girls working at Funpalast?

A user has already posed the question on the Sex Vienna Forum that interests us as well: What will happen to the girls working at Funpalast if the sauna club does indeed close down?

According to the forum user, many of the girls will move to laufhauses and Goldentime sauna club. Some of them may look for work at Maxim Wien, and some will move to Germany to continue working there. It is expected that those who previously worked on the street as prostitutes will go back to working on the streets.

In Aargau, Police Rescue Underage Prostitute from Brothel

The Aargau police have rescued a young girl from Eastern Europe from a brothel, leading to the arrest of the brothel operator. The incident was triggered by a member of the public who reported a young girl working at a brothel in the Baden district. The police promptly responded to the tip-off and discovered that the young woman’s age was in doubt, and her identity documents did not match the person in question, according to the Aargau Canton Prosecutor’s Office on Friday.

After removing the young woman from the brothel, an investigation was launched by the Canton Prosecutor’s Office into promoting prostitution of minors and potential human trafficking. Subsequent interrogations and investigations conducted by the specialized staff of the cantonal police and the prosecutor’s office led to increased suspicions against the brothel operator.

In close collaboration between law enforcement agencies, house searches were carried out in two Aargau municipalities, which resulted in the arrest of the brothel operator. The Canton Prosecutor’s Office requested pre-trial detention for the 58-year-old, who is under urgent suspicion of sexually exploiting the underage teenager. Until a legally binding conviction, the presumption of innocence remains.

The underage girl has been transferred to a specialized agency for psychological care. This incident highlights the ongoing issue of human trafficking and forced prostitution and serves as a reminder of the importance of reporting suspicious activities to the authorities.

Sex Vienna Forum User Provides Warning About Scam on Booksusi Website

Regular users of the Sex Vienna forum are accustomed to receiving valuable tips from fellow forum-goers, and this week is no exception.

One forum member recently alerted others to a Hungarian gang operating a scam on the Booksusi website, where they advertise their services but ultimately cheat their customers out of their money.

The scam typically involves the girl requesting payment upfront, after which she either instructs the customer to take a shower or leaves the apartment for some pretext.

The result is always the same: the girl disappears with the customer’s money, leaving them without the promised service. In some cases, valuables left in plain sight also mysteriously vanish.

    Booksusi scam
The scammers’ profile on Booksusi (already deleted)

The gang advertises their services on Booksusi but frequently deletes their profile and creates a new one with a new phone number when the heat gets too high. Yesterday, one of their ads was still visible on the website, featuring a girl named Sofie who did not show her face but portrayed herself as naive and friendly. She claimed to be a pretty girl on her first trip to Vienna and invited interested parties to contact her on WhatsApp.

Fortunately, the ad has since been removed from the site, but users are advised to exercise caution when using Booksusi and be aware of the potential for scams. Always be sure to thoroughly research any services or providers before handing over any money, and if anything seems suspicious, trust your instincts and walk away.

We alreaday wrote about Booksusi scams last year

As we previously reported in August of last year, Booksusi and similar platforms are hotspots for scammers and other criminal activity.

Unfortunately, this trend has continued, and recent reports indicate that customers are still at risk of being taken advantage of when using these sites.

For foreigners who are not familiar with the Vienna sex scene, it can be especially challenging to navigate the world of online prostitution. While using these sites can make the booking process more accessible and convenient, it can also lead to customers being exploited by unscrupulous individuals.

One common tactic used by scammers is to request payment upfront before the service is provided. In many cases, these individuals disappear with the customer’s money, leaving them without the promised service. Another issue is the exploitation of personal phone numbers. While providing phone numbers can make the booking process faster and easier, it can also lead to customers being contacted by pimps after their session and threatened with additional fees or even physical harm.

It is essential to remember that legal and reputable brothels and sex clubs do not require clients to provide their phone numbers or any other personal details to operators or the ladies, unless it is absolutely necessary. Clients should be cautious when using Booksusi or any other similar platform and thoroughly research the service providers before handing over any money.

Due to the pandemic and the halting of legal prostitution, many girls and clients turned to these platforms, including Booksusi, which has resulted in a rise in scams and other criminal activity. As clubs begin to open again, it is crucial to remain vigilant and cautious when booking services through these sites.

The top 10 biggest mistakes in sex made by men

Sex is a personal and intimate experience, and there are no strict rules that apply to every situation. However, there are certain behaviors that can detract from the overall experience and even ruin the moment. The results were surprising, revealing that both men and women are guilty of making mistakes in the bedroom. By avoiding these mistakes, men can improve their sexual experience and ensure that their partner is satisfied.

    7. Commenting on women’s body shape: Commenting on a woman’s body shape can be considered offensive and can make the partner feel insecure.

    8. Not paying attention to what she wants: It is important to listen to what the partner wants and to communicate during sex. Not paying attention to what she wants can lead to discomfort or dissatisfaction.

    9. Ignoring her body language: Body language is an important part of communication during sex. Ignoring her body language can lead to miscommunication and can make the partner feel uncomfortable.

    10. Lack of emotional connection: Sex is not just a physical act, but it also involves emotional connection. A lack of emotional connection can make the partner feel unimportant or used.

Maxim Wien, a Vienna-based sex club, recently published a blog post titled “Where to go when the Laufhaus closes?” which discusses the differences between a Laufhaus and a classic brothel like Maxim Wien.

The post highlights that while Laufhauses rent out rooms to independent ladies, brothels like Maxim Wien offer a complete entertainment package with a bar, DJ, and stage for watching the Maxim Girls perform: Where you can find sex in Vienna at night?

In August, a 32-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter were found dead in their Vienna-Mariahilf apartment.

The suspected perpetrator, a 49-year-old Tunisian man who was in a relationship with the mother, was later arrested and brought to trial. He initially claimed that the deaths were accidental but later pleaded guilty to double murder.

The case has drawn attention to the prevalence of domestic violence in Austria, where an average of 33 women die each year due to domestic violence. Critics argue that more must be done to address the root causes of the issue, and this case serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing domestic violence and its impact on families and communities: An unemployed man killed the mother and 14-year-old daughter

A 52-year-old man has been sentenced to seven years in prison on charges of sexual abuse of a helpless person and aggravated robbery in Vienna. The man was accused of giving a fatal overdose of drugs to a 43-year-old man after forcing him to tolerate sexual intercourse with violence. The prosecution alleged that the accused administered liquid ecstasy and mephedrone to the victim. The accused denied this, stating that the victim was already impaired and took drugs in the accused’s apartment before eventually falling asleep. The accused also claimed that he was seeking love, affection, and security rather than drug sex. • Where you can find sex in Vienna at night?

Where you can find sex in Vienna at night?

We stumbled upon an interesting topic on the blog of Maxim Wien, . Their blog post titled “Where to go when the Laufhaus closes?” discusses the differences between a Laufhaus and a classic brothel like Maxim Wien.

According to their post, Laufhauses are a special form of a brothel where rooms are rented out to the ladies, and clients walk through the house, looking outside the doors to see if a lady is available. In contrast, a brothel like Maxim Wien offers guests an all-round experience package with its own DJ, party music, bar, and stage where punters can relax, enjoy drinks, flirt, dance with the Maxim Girls, and watch them perform on stage.

The post also highlights the difference in services and prices between the two establishments. In a Laufhaus, ladies are entirely independent and decide which services they want to offer and at what prices. In a brothel like Maxim Wien, the prices for the ladies and guests are the same for a usual range of services, promoting transparency and fairness.

Lastly, the post touches upon the difference in opening hours. Laufhauses are open during the day and typically close between midnight and 02:00. Maxim Wien, on the other hand, opens its doors in the evening from 8 pm and closes them at dawn, at 05:00.

But do Laufhauses really close this early?

We looked around Vienna to see when Laufhauses close, and it really isn’t worth visiting them for sex at night. Here’s the list:

    • Laufhaus Vienna – closes at 02:00
    • Laufhaus Wien Peepshow Burggasse – Mo-Sa closes at 23:00, Su closes at 22:00
    • Laufhaus Juchgasse 23:00 – closes at 02:00
    • Laufhaus Ici Paris – closes at 02:00
    • Laufhaus Kontakt Zentrum – closes at 24:00
    • Laufhaus Rachel – closes at 01:00, Friday and Saturday closes at 02:00
    • Laufhaus Kontaktzone – closes at 24:00, Friday and Saturday closes at 02:00
    • Laufhaus Wien Mitte – closes at 02:00

It seems the major Laufhauses really close around midnight, maximum at 02:00, so if a punter wants sex, it is better to head up to Maxim Wien or a similar brothel.

An unemployed man killed the mother and 14-year-old daughter

In August, the bodies of a 32-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter were discovered in their Vienna-Mariahilf apartment. The suspected perpetrator is a 49-year-old Tunisian man who was in a relationship with the mother at the time of the murders. According to police, the woman’s 6 and 9-year-old children witnessed the killings.

After fleeing to France, the suspect was eventually apprehended and brought to trial. During his trial, he initially claimed that the deaths were accidental and related to consensual sexual activity, alleging that the woman had asked him to choke her and never woke up, causing her daughter to become hysterical. However, he later changed his plea to guilty of double murder following a statement from the 9-year-old brother.

The defendant had been receiving emergency assistance and was unemployed for seven years prior to the murders. He had also been actively seeking a new partner online before fleeing to France. On Wednesday evening, the verdict was announced, and the defendant received a life sentence.

The case has deeply affected Austria and has highlighted the prevalence of domestic violence in the country. Austria has a significant problem with women being murdered by their partners or ex-partners, with an average of 33 women dying each year due to domestic violence. While the government has pledged to improve protections for victims, critics argue that more must be done to address the root causes of the issue. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing domestic violence and the impact it can have on families and communities.

The tragic deaths of the 32-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter have left Austria in shock. Their story is a painful reminder of the devastating effects of domestic violence, which continues to be a serious issue in Austria. Every year, dozens of women lose their lives at the hands of their partners or ex-partners, leaving behind shattered families and communities.

52-year-old sentenced to seven years in prison after fatal sex date in Vienna

A sex encounter in Vienna turned deadly, resulting in a 52-year-old man being sentenced to seven years in prison on charges of sexual abuse of a helpless person and aggravated robbery. The man was accused of administering a fatal overdose of drugs to a 43-year-old man he had forced to tolerate sexual intercourse with violence. However, the jury disagreed with the accusation of rape resulting in death.

During the trial, the prosecutor’s office alleged that the accused administered liquid ecstasy and mephedrone to the victim. But the accused denied this, stating that the victim was already impaired when he appeared for the sex date and then took drugs available in the accused’s apartment before eventually falling asleep.

The accused also claimed that he was seeking “love, affection, and security” rather than “drug sex.”

When the accused attempted to be intimate with the victim again at 6:00 a.m., he discovered that the man was dead. Instead of calling for help, the accused stashed the body in a bedding drawer because he was “not ready for an arrest.” The victim’s remains were only discovered three weeks later.

    Video evidence of the crime

The jury viewed videos recorded by the accused himself on the night of the crime, which showed how he repeatedly abused the helpless man. While the victim was severely impaired, he was still alive at the time. If the accused had called for medical help, the victim’s life could have been saved.

The 52-year-old was also found guilty of aggravated robbery for stealing a flat-screen television from the victim’s apartment while the latter was unconscious. He also stole several gold coins from another man who had joined the proceedings as a private plaintiff.

The man’s sentence of seven years in prison was accompanied by a commitment to a facility for abnormal offenders. A psychiatric expert had diagnosed the accused with a severe personality disorder, sexual deviation up to necrophilia, and a high risk of recidivism, likely due to years of drug abuse.

Although the accused was not found to be legally insane, the expert strongly recommended that he be committed to a facility for abnormal offenders to prevent future offenses.

This case highlights the importance of seeking help in cases of sexual abuse or violence, and the severity of the consequences for offenders. The Vienna State Court’s decision to commit the accused to a facility for abnormal offenders also reflects the need to prioritize rehabilitation and treatment for individuals with severe personality disorders or other mental health issues that contribute to criminal behavior.

  • A New Case of Pimping, Drugs, and Dirty Money in Tryol

A New Case of Pimping, Drugs, and Dirty Money in Tryol

In Tyrol, the Police had shed light on a new pimping case. They have arrested a 28-year-old Romanian guy for forcing at least four women into prostitution. The male in question was involved in other illegal activities as well. After the information got to the Austrian authorities, they immediately started looking for him.

They froze the two accounts the Romanian suspect had and then started to track him down. During the investigation in November, houses and apartments were thoroughly searched.

The Police Has Found What They Wanted, and Even More Than That

During those house searches, two of them particularly stood out. These were in Innsbruck and what the Police found there had incredible monetary value. They had found a total of 33,500 Euros in cash, 65 pairs of women’s shoes, and 70 grams of cocaine.

It is needless to say that they were more than surprised about the amount of shoes they found. However, they were absolutely stunned when it turned out that the whole women’s shoe collection is worth 26,000 Euros.

The Romanian guy surely had its own ways of doing business. All those shoes were stolen, as it was confirmed by the Police. They have also found the rightful owner, so we can say there were no stones unturned by the officials.

But What About the Illegal Prostitution Part?

During the searches, the Police had knocked on some doors and they found a few occupied rooms as well. They found three women who were actively providing sexual services to their clients. They caught the ladies in the act and labeled the case as illegal prostitution.

The story might not end there, as the investigation continues. So far, the Romanian suspect is facing charges related to drug possession and pimping.

Marketing Stunt for Saunaclub Funpalast Has Gone Terribly Wrong

We were kind of surprised to see that Saunaclub Funpalast had another desperate try to get attention from the wide public. They had actually appeared in a TV show where they had Martin Mahrer as a guest. Martin is a Viennese lawyer who was more than eager to participate in their almost cringe-inducing advertisement.

He appeared in a bathrobe, enjoying a drink and trying to hit up a conversation with an attractive lady. It is needless to say that showing this ad to the public did not turn out well nor for Mahrer, nor for the Funpalast. It was quite ambitious, to say the least.

The Scene was Begging for the Punishment of the Supreme Court

The marketing stunt was part of the ATV documentary “Geil – That’s How It’s Done in Austria”. The Saunaclub was able to get its 5 minutes of fame there. They wanted to get maximum value for the show time they got, thinking that it’s a great idea to invite 47-year-old Martin Mahrer with barely any clothes on. The lawyer has appeared on screen in underpants, slippers, and a bathrobe. He seemed like he had a great time chatting with the masked prostitute.

Part of the script was to show him disappearing into one of the rooms with the sex worker. Mahler was ready with his own explanation. Unfortunately, it did not convince the Supreme Court.

“It Was Just a Role Played for a Friend” Mahler Said

Mahler has accepted the request to be the guest for the TV shoot. He played a role, which was a favor for his friend. “I did not mention anything about my job.” He said, but this was not enough to save him.

The Disciplinary Council wasn’t convinced. They concluded that the case was not a private matter and that it should be punished. As a result, they have imposed a fine of 4,000 Euros total. It was nothing else but an advertisement for prostitution. The punishment was justified by the Supreme Court as well. It simply wasn’t within the limits of a private matter due to the fact that it was an advertisement for prostitution.

In the legal world, it is considered as something associated with human suffering. The fact that they had it showed on TV made the case even worse.

Funpalast has not only made a wrong decision, but they also ensured that something unacceptable got huge attention by the media. This failed attempt is surely not going to help their business.

Requested a refund at a brothel, got four years in prison instead

A 33-year-old customer who visited a brothel in Wals near Salzburg in July had forcibly demanded a refund for his love services.

As a result, he has been sentenced to four years in prison by the Salzburg Regional Court for aggravated robbery. The verdict is not yet final.

It Wasn’t Just a Simple Request, it was Life Threatening

According to the indictment, on July 8th, the 33-year-old man spent the night with a prostitute at a “running house,” paying her a total of 4,000 euros for her services.

When the woman tried to leave, he demanded the money back and brandished a kitchen knife. The woman attempted to disarm him, leading to both of them suffering cuts in the scuffle. The man then grabbed an axe and threatened to hit the woman with it.

Out of fear, she took the 4,000 euros she had just earned from her backpack and placed them on the table.

After the woman tried to call the police, the man took her mobile phone and threatened her again with the axe. She fled the scene and the Romanian man was later arrested, remaining in custody since.
