The Vienna Regional Court concluded a trial on Monday, sentencing two prostitutes and their accomplice to long prison terms for a series of robberies targeting elderly, single men. From late September to late November 2023, the group arranged sex meetings through dating platforms and robbed their victims during house escort.
They got a total of 30 years in prison
A 43-year-old woman received an eight-year sentence, a 28-year-old woman was sentenced to nine years, and a 53-year-old man, who organized the crimes, was given a 13-year sentence. As the judge said, the crimes were carefully planned and they were committed in order to rip off the clients instead of providing the ordered sexual services.
The sentences are final, and both the prosecutor and the defense accepted them. The sentences were for multiple counts of aggravated robbery and criminal association. The defendants got serious punishment because they targeted elderly men and the 28-year-old woman and the man already had similar previous criminal records.
The Hungarian gang used fake profiles on dating platforms, showing much younger, attractive women. In six cases, the two women visited their victims together, while in four cases the 43-year-old woman was alone.
When they worked in pairs, one of them distracted the client’s attention, while the other girl searched the rooms and took the valuables. In one case, they even stole a 60-kg safe.
During their activities, they stole cash and jewelry worth around 70,000 euros. They worked in Vienna, Linz, Wels, and villages in Burgenland.
They also robbed the well-known Viennese burglar Ernst Walter Stummer
As an interesting fact, the well-known Viennese burglar Ernst Walter Stummer was also one of their victims. The two women robbed him on October 4, 2023.
One of the women distracted the interest of the 85-year-old man, while the other woman put a drug in his champagne. After he fell asleep, the two women found only 50 euros and a wristwatch.

As we mentioned, the gang also lived in a complicated relationship with each other. The 53-year-old man had a relationship with the younger woman since 2018. In 2022, he moved to Linz with the other woman, but shortly afterward, the younger woman also followed them, and they lived together.
At the beginning of the trial, the young woman was pregnant by the 53-year-old man.
