Stabbing incident outside nightclub in Vienna-Landstraße

A fight outside a nightclub in Vienna’s Landstraße district on Saturday night turned violent, leaving two men injured.

The men, aged 25 and 26, were stabbed during the brawl and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The police quickly responded to the scene and arrested four suspects, aged between 31 and 37, who were believed to be involved in the altercation.

A knife, believed to be the weapon used in the stabbing, was found nearby in a trash can.

However, after further investigation, the Vienna Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the release of the four suspects without charges. It was found that although three individuals were involved in the fight, they were not responsible for using the knife. One of the arrested individuals even claimed that he was not involved in the fight at all.

The motive behind the altercation remains unclear, and the search for the perpetrator who wielded the knife is ongoing. The Vienna Police assured that the investigation is progressing swiftly.
