A gruesome scene unfolded in the 20th district of Vienna on Friday night. In a stroke of luck, she managed to barricade herself in a room, escaping the grisly fate that befell her companions. Traumatized by the ordeal, she has been offered vital psychological support to cope with the aftermath.
The motive behind the senseless attack remains unclear as authorities piece together the events leading up to the tragedy. Meanwhile, the suspect, who sustained minor injuries during the altercation, is being held in custody pending further inquiries.
