Maxim Wien, one of the best-known sex clubs in Vienna, is getting ready to open a new bar. The new spot, called the Maxim Legacy Bar, will open in June 2025 at Schellinggasse 1 in Vienna’s 1st district.
This is the same building where the former EVE Bar operated. The owners of Maxim took over the place after EVE went out of business. The bar will be open every day from 8 PM to 5 AM, excluding Sunday, which is a non-working day in most Viennese sex bars.
Legacy Bar is named in honor of Pepi Stern
The new bar is named in honor of Pepi Stern, the founder of Maxim Wien. Stern helped shape Vienna’s adult nightlife scene for decades. The bar will serve high-end drinks, including rare champagnes and luxury spirits. So far, there is no extra information about special events.
