The 49-year-old customer lives in Neunkirchen, and he used an online service to order a sex worker. After the 22-year-old woman arrived, he invited the woman in.
According to the State Police Directorate of Lower Austria, the woman and a 47-year-old accomplice secretly put a sedative into the man’s drink.
Once he passed out, they stole cash and his ATM card. The accomplice, who arrived later, helped the woman search the house for valuables. More than 10,000 euros were taken from his account through illegal withdrawals, and the suspects made sure to act quickly to avoid being caught.
The police already arrested the woman and her accomplice
On Friday, the police identified and arrested the suspects. They were taken to the Wiener Neustadt detention center, where they are currently being held.
The two suspects, a Romanian woman and her Austrian accomplice, have not admitted to the crime. Despite questioning, they have denied involvement, though police have gathered significant evidence against them.
Police found evidence and some of the stolen money, which has been returned to the victim. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine if the suspects were involved in similar crimes in the past.
