On November 27, 2024, a 49-year-old man arranged online to meet a prostitute at his home. During the evening, another man, who was her accomplice, joined them, and they all drank alcohol together. According to police, the suspects secretly added a sedative to the man’s drink.

The man passed out and woke up the next morning to find his ATM card and cash missing. The suspects had also withdrawn over €10,000 from his bank account.

The next day, November 28, 2024, police arrested the two suspects in their apartment in Neunkirchen. They found evidence and part of the stolen money, which was returned to the victim. The suspects, however, denied committing the crime.
